Peristaltic Pump based Vial Filling Machine (vial filler machine) uses to avoid cross contamination in sterile liquid filling operations. In modern world biggest challenge in injectable filling is to avoid cross contamination between products. In traditional vial filling machine filling is performed through stainless steel piston pump in which liquid comes in contact with filling pump and nozzles. After each batch one has to sterilize filling pump in autoclave to remove residue of product. There is always risk of cross contamination of last product to current product. To avoid this scenario peristaltic pump based vial filling machine introduced into market. In peristaltic pump liquid comes into contact with silicon tubes only. So after each batch if user change silicon tubing then there is no chance of cross contamination between products.
In contrast to traditional piston pump type filling, peristaltic pump type filling is more recent to be adopted in the pharmaceutical business. The benefit of filling with a peristaltic pump is that there is very little possibility of contamination because the liquid only comes into contact with silicon tubing, which can be changed after each batch. Also, compared to other types of fillings, the number of pieces needed for autoclaving is extremely low.
As a producer of liquid filling machines using Peristaltic pumps, we offer a variety of machine models with filling speeds ranging from 10 to 300 liters per minute. The peristaltic pump needs to be calibrated once for each type of liquid before the fill volume can be changed via the machine’s HMI panel. Depending on the needs of the client, this servo-driven vial filling machine is available with or without a stoppering unit. Peristaltic pumps with one or more channels can be installed based on the desired output and speed.

Working Principle of Vial Filler Machine
Our vial filling machines comprise of a stainless steel slat conveyor and vials are transferred using this conveyor. Once the vials reach the filling station from the conveyor, the next phase of operation begins. Filling station is equipped with a number of heads for quicker operations. Here precise filling of vials takes place and they are now moved for the stoppering process. This is a very crucial part of the entire process as this ensures the vials remain immaculate and the product inside the vials also remains preserved. Pharmaceutical products must always remain free of external contaminants and other factors. The medicinal value may get compromised otherwise and hence vial filling and capping machines are indispensable to the pharmaceutical industry.
