Key Description and Working Principle

The machine operates on a rotary principle, where a circular turret (rotating table) holds multiple stations (dies and punches). As the turret rotates continuously at high speed:

1. Filling — Powder/granules from a hopper are fed into die cavities via a feeder system.

2. Pre-compression — Initial light pressure is applied (often via pre-compression rollers) to remove air and settle the material.

3. Main compression — High pressure from main rollers compresses the material into a solid tablet using upper and lower punches.

4. Ejection — The formed tablet is pushed out by the lower punch and collected via a chute.

This cycle repeats rapidly at each station, enabling simultaneous production of multiple tablets. Modern high-speed models often include features like real-time force monitoring, servo-driven controls, automatic weight adjustment, and safety enclosures to ensure consistency, quality, and GMP compliance.
